According to Reuters, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Saturday that he would travel to Russia soon for further talks with his counterpart Vladimir Putin.
“Confidence talks started with President Putin in Fort Bregancon continue,” Macron said in a tweet, citing key themes for European security, regional conflicts, and climate change. “I am going to travel to Russia soon.”
Macron and Putin made a video call on Friday. Macron called on Europe to reevaluate its strategic partnership with Russia, saying that the provocative policy for Moscow in recent years has failed.
