Lavrov walks out of G20 summit after being ignored by Western ministers

The tension between Russia and the West has manifested itself in many ways and this is one of the most recent episodes.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrov, left the G20 summit after being ignored by the other ministers present at the event, advances the newspaper, Der Spiegel.

According to the publication, the ministers participating in the meeting, which takes place this Friday in Indonesia, refused to take a photo with the Russian diplomat and decided to openly ignore him. The German newspaper also adds that, as a form of protest, the countries that belong to the G7 did not participate in the usual fraternization dinner.
